Canada-Africa Conference on Investment Funding: Case of West and Central Africa.
It is now widely known that Africa is the next the world’s next economic opportunity center: with a young, growing and ambitious population; availability of raw materials; strategical geographical location, remarkable and ever-increasing economic growth rate, progress in economic reforms, improved business climate, availability of arable land, etc.
However, despite the immeasurable number of investment projects, funding is always a challenge. According to data published by the African Development Bank in 2018, it is estimated that between 600 and 700 billion $US, the amount of annual investment needs in Africa, of which between 130 and 170 billion $US in infrastructure projects.
